I am a graduate student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), pursuing MS in Robotics Engineering. Through this platform, I wish to describe highlights of my academic journey and some of the key experiences which have contributed to my development over the years.
I have always believed in maintaining a balance between academics and extra curriculars. I was a state-level Table Tennis gold medalist and I practiced Kathak (a classical Indian dance form) for 10 years and completed a Diploma in it. I strongly believe that these experiences of tournaments, practice sessions, stage performances, managing academics have inculcated plenty of valuable qualities. Time management, multi-tasking, sportsman spirit, team work, presenting yourself confidently on stage are the learnings that I am grateful for!
My journey towards pursuing Robotics started from the day I visited my father's pharmaceutical factory. I was amazed standing in the room filled with huge manufacturing machines. Since then, I wanted to know everything about them!
Since then I have learnt how to Design and model machine parts, how to use CAM operations, 3D printing, Lathe machine operations to fabricate these parts. Going further, I wanted to learn how to control these machines, automate them to perform tasks and make them learn from their environment and previous tasks. And here I am, in this exciting field of Robotics and Automation engineering!
I want to use my technical knowledge to solve real-world problems and help ease human life!
