Hello, and welcome. These pages serve as my professional portfolio, with information about my background, work experience, credentials, research activities, and technical skills. I also use this platform as a professional blog and hope to regularly publish articles on various technical subjects, particularly related to finite element analysis (FEA).
I am an engineer by profession, although I generally find myself working on business problems or people problems. I am currently the Product Manager at an early stage startup that is in the process of developing and rolling out its software. Prior to this I worked as a Senior Technical Project Manager for Amazon, specifically their AWS cloud business, leading research projects into various technologies that make Amazon's data centers smarter and more efficient. And before that I was a consultant, instructor, and technical sales specialist at Dassault Systèmes working with their industry-leading Abaqus finite-element analysis software. My resume lists the details.
In terms of academic qualifications, I have a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Emory University. My focus areas as an engineer were (1) Computer-aided engineering, (2) Aerodynamics, and (3) Robotics & machine-vision, and my focus areas during my MBA were (a) Private Equity and Venture Capital and (b) Entrepreneurship.
In my free time I enjoy hiking and traveling. I also recently became a father and every day is a new adventure (or disaster waiting to happen).
Feel free to explore my portfolio and thanks for visiting!
